CEO and Co-founder

Timothy Foss

Timothy has been in the technology and telecommunications industry for over twelve years. Tim majored in International Business and Sports Marketing at Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL and developed his experience in different international telecom companies (including AT&T, Verizon, IDT Telecom, etc.).
In July 2011 Tim co-founded and formed Itellum in Costa Rica. Under his oversight, Itellum expanded rapidly as a privately owned and government licensed Internet Service Provider (ISP) and Telecommunications Company.
Tim expanded Itellum’s focus to include: Internet connectivity, wireless, fiber optics, spectrum sales, facilities based voice services, and multiple concession projects (rights-of-way, etc) in Costa Rica. Today, Tim’s vision is to replicate Itellum’s success in Costa Rica across Latin America.

RICK MOOERS

Rick is a generalist in a world of specialists. Rick possesses a working knowledge or better in areas such as management, finance, accounting, tax; international dealings, restructurings/turnarounds, business start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, securities, legal, investment banking, consulting, negotiating and structuring transactions, licensing; regulatory issues, and most importantly risk management.
In 1985, Rick graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maine, United States, with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. He trained as a certified public accountant. In late 1991, Rick joined Dominion Group Limited, an investment/merchant bank which specialized in the technology, agriculture, and environmental industries, initially as director of corporate finance. He became CEO where he gained a wide range of both international and US experience, including being involved with a number of businesses in various stages of development, including start-ups, commercialization’s and public offerings.

Roger Branton

In 1989, Roger graduated from West Chester University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He trained as a certified public accountant and worked for Dominion Group Limited, an investment/merchant bank which specialized in the technology, agriculture, and environmental industries. Roger co-founded MB Technology Holdings, LLC (MBTH) in July 2010. MBTH is a technology holding and service company whose mission is to pursue suitable acquisitions for its portfolio by identifying companies requiring assistance in their next phases of growth. Roger has invaluable international experience and relationships, and has been involved in each of the various stages of business from start-up, to private placements, to commercialization, to IPO on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and NASDAQ, to exit.
Roger serves as CFO of xG Technology, Inc., a NASDAQ-listed company with patented technologies that enable radio spectrum to be shared. Roger also serves as a Director of Itellum, LLC and MB Technology Holdings, LLC.

Controller

Raquel Castro

Raquel joined the Itellum team in 2011 as Office Manager in order to ensure the proper functioning of the finance, legal and human resource departments. In 2012, Raquel was promoted to Controller where her responsibilities include overseeing project development, management report, accounting, financial planning and budget review. Raquel also plays an integral role in the development of new lines of business including VoIP, spectrum, internet connectivity and fiber optic. Raquel’s expertise has contributed to Itellum becoming a leader in the telecommunications industry in Latin America. Raquel has a background in law, digital journalism and is currently pursuing a specialization in Digital Marketing and Managerial Accounting.

Mark Foss

Mr. Foss has over thirty five years of management experience within Fortune 100 telecommunications companies and state government entities. Mr. Foss has been responsible for the management of: the design, development and implementation of telecommunications system for New York State capital complex (CAPNET), a consortium of Eastern Microwave, IBM and NYNEX, intrusion monitoring, and all related switch facilities for Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC).
Mr. Foss has a BA in Philosophy and Political Science from the State University of New York. He is a member of Mensa, and has certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP®), a Public Purchasing Buyer (CPPB), a Florida Certified Contract Negotiator (FCCN), and a Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM).

Joe Bobier

Joseph Bobier co-founded xG Technology, Inc. in August, 2002 where he served as Chief Technology Officer. Joe holds several patents for wireless technology. Before “Wi-Fi” had a name, he successfully developed and deployed such wireless systems in the U.S. and Europe. He received his initial training in the US Navy where he was schooled in advanced electronics and satellite communications. Joe is licensed by the FCC as a 1st Class radio telephone engineer and holds several US and foreign patents for electronic designs in the area of photovoltaics. Joe has lectured for organizations including NASA and British Petroleum in the areas of photovoltaic power systems, electronic power conversion and telemetry systems.

Donna Eakins

Donna received her first AS Degree in Business Administration with Applied Science Minor and her second AS Degree in Business Management with Computer Science Minor from Morrison Career College in Reno, Nevada. Donna’s career in VoIP began in 1998 as a network operator where she quickly advanced to network supervisor. Donna is proficient in many computer programs, including Microsoft, Apple, and Cisco and has specialized experience with HP Openview and Freevision. In 2012 Donna began working for Itellum as Chief Technology Officer, managing their network equipment and network operations center (NOC).

Brenda Smith

Brenda has been in the Telecommunications industry for over 20 years. She first started as a system and data analyst for World Access where she was able to expand her knowledge. In 2004 she joined Globalnet Carrier Access. In 2008 she was recruited by NetComm Services Corp. Brenda has been with Itellum since its start up in 2011. Currently Brenda is the Director of the International Division and manages the rate and disputes department. Brenda plays a key role in ensuring Itellum has the best destinations and rates for our customers.

Tom Lowe

Tom Lowe graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in computer science in the late 80’s. Tom began his carrier at AT&T Bell Laboratories in New Jersey and in 1991 Tom started his own software development company where he focused on a wide range of applications for various open call routing platforms. Tom has a wide range of skills related to various telecom technologies especially VoIP, intelligent call routing, billing, and prepaid services. In over 25 years of experience in the industry Tom has worked with and consulted for a wide range of companies including several RBOCs, Cisco Systems, AT&T, IBM, and mobile providers.

Mats Wennberg

Born in Sweden, Mats Wennberg has been involved in the IT industry since 1976. From 1986 to 2002 he worked for Microsoft where he was the CEO for the Nordic and Baltic region, based in Stockholm. In 1999, he was assigned to London as Vice-President for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, where he was responsible for various business and sales operations for Microsoft until September 2002. Mats is today a management consultant via his company and is engaged in a number of Nordic early stage companies focusing primarily on the North American market.
